Paul began his career as a Fisheries Development Officer with short tours in East Africa and Indonesia and five years in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. For the next 30 years, Paul held a variety of positions with the Sea Fish Industry Authority in Hull, culminating in the role of Senior Training Advisor and responsible for the Authority’s Training Development programme. Having taken early retirement in 2003, he now works for Morrisons as a fishmonger in their Anlaby store and, also, as a private training and assessment services provider .
